ELISE MAURINE MILNER, CEO/Founder of Hanging Cow Productions is first a writer, then a Producer and a Director, occasionally an actress, always a comedienne, and a fan of both ballet and livestock!! "The ButtCracker" was her very first full scale Off Broadway production in New York City, first produced in 2002! Since then Elise has gone on to write/direct/produce over 17 other Off Broadway plays and musicals, some dramatic, and some comedic... she has now produced and directed over 400 critically acclaimed performances from coast to coast! She is currently still producing theatre and moving into film and television.
She has an extensive acting resume in all mediums of performing and she has currently been a full time theatrical writer/producer/director here in New York City since 2001. As for the unique company name of "Hanging Cow Productions," Elise is quite familiar with livestock! (Horses that is) She was an accomplished, 4-H leader and professional horsewoman since the age of 14, having ridden, trained, & shown horses for over 10 years in English & Western riding. She has won several collegiate Acting & Writing/Directing awards, and she is a published poet, magazine, and web author. In her spare time she enjoys travel abroad, skiing, ice skating, horseback riding, paranormal investigating, her friends and family, spirituality, and collecting 80's memorabilia.
